Compensation

Key Responsibilities

• Cover startup ecosystems, funding rounds, product launches, and technology events.
• Verify facts and ensure accuracy, credibility, and journalistic integrity in all publications.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and marketing teams to produce engaging multimedia content.
• Monitor emerging technologies and provide insights on their business and societal impact.
• Manage content deadlines and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
• Utilize SEO best practices to improve content visibility and audience reach.
• Engage with audiences through social media and digital platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, startups, innovation, AI, fintech, cybersecurity, and digital business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research, analyze information, and produce compelling stories.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Previous journalism, blogging, or content creation experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience covering technology or business news.
• Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of multimedia storytelling, podcasting, or video production.
• Existing network within the technology and startup ecosystem.
