We are seeking talented Backend Engineers to help build and improve next-generation AI systems. In this role, you'll leverage your Java expertise to develop scalable backend solutions while contributing to the advancement of innovative AI technologies.

Contract Type: Contractor

Rate: $30 – $80 USD/hour

What You'll Do:

✅ Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem

✅ Build secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions

✅ Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

✅ Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, and QA

✅ Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

✅ Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance

✅ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

What We're Looking For:

✔ Expert-level Java development experience

✔ Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

✔ Solid knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and Backend Architecture

✔ Experience delivering enterprise-grade applications

✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

✔ Ability to work independently in a remote environment

✔ Fluent/Native english (mandatory). Please note that will be tested

Nice to Have:

➕ Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools

➕ Performance tuning and optimization experience

➕ Experience working with distributed international teams
