JOB SUMMARY: Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of IT Technician based at our Montreal facility. The position reports to the Enterprise Applications Manager. The Computer Technician is responsible for providing the best quality general support to internal users of the IT system. The incumbent uses patience and is available to help his/her colleagues when the need arises. This is a permanent full-time position, but the opportunity is also open to students who wish to complete an internship in a professional setting. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor incidents and user requests within Levels of Service; Perform installation, update, and configuration requests for enterprise software; Perform the physical installation of computers and participate in the maintenance of the computer network; Perform various IT equipment rearrangements as required; Ensure inventories are up to date; Write or update installation procedures as needed; Participate in a 24/7 support rotation (on call); Collaborate with IT teams on technology projects and deployments. QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONNAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Diploma in IT Support or equivalent, or currently in the process of obtaining such a degree; Three (3) years of experience in IT support (an asset); Knowledge of user management in Active Directory; Windows 11 desktop tools (MS Office 365); Understanding of how IT networks operate; Good customer service abilities; Bilingualism: English and French (spoken and written) in order to be able to communicate with our anglophone and francophone sites. WORKING CONDITIONS: Remote work possibility: up to two days per week; Offices located at 4026 Notre-Dame Street East, Montréal; On-site parking available and accessible by public transit; 35 hours per week; Competitive salary and benefits.
