IT Systems Administrator (Remote)

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a System Administrator to work on a Contractor basis. This role involves administering and maintaining Linux and Windows server environments to ensure maximum uptime and reliability for a platform that connects domain experts to the development of frontier AI models. Your expertise in systems configuration and infrastructure security will directly contribute to training data, evaluations, and feedback loops that improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform across domains like finance, healthcare, and engineering. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.

• Manage systems configuration, applying best practices for scalability and performance.

• Implement and uphold robust security policies to safeguard infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues swiftly, minimizing business disruption.

• Monitor system performance, proactively addressing potential bottlenecks.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external IT teams to deliver seamless technical solutions.

• Create and maintain thorough documentation for system procedures and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience administering Linux and Windows server environments.

• Proficiency in systems configuration and best practices for scalability and performance.

• Strong understanding of security policies and implementation in IT infrastructure.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving IT issues with minimal disruption.

• Ability to monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks.

• Excellent documentation skills for maintaining system procedures and configurations.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies is a plus.
