Location : Hybrid - Malta Responsibilities: As an IT Systems Administrator , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Azure Infrastructure Management Provision, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and remote virtual machines Ensure reliable and secure remote access for employees and business users Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance where required Advanced Technical Support Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues related to user access, operating systems, hardware, and software Diagnose and resolve Level 2/3 support incidents efficiently Identity & Access Management Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and lifecycle processes Support identity governance and access control initiatives Microsoft 365 Administration Manage and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and related services Assist with user onboarding, configuration, and platform maintenance Endpoint & System Management Deploy operating system updates, security patches, and software packages Manage endpoint compliance using Microsoft Intune or equivalent solutions Maintain asset and configuration standards across the environment Network & Connectivity Support Support office networking infrastructure, including wired and wireless connectivity Monitor and maintain VPN services and secure access to cloud resources Security & Compliance Monitor security events and endpoint compliance Support adherence to internal security standards and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR and ISO 27001 Assist with security audits and remediation activities Documentation Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge base articles, and user guides Ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date On-Call Support Participate in an occasional on-call rotation to support critical incidents and business continuity requirements Requirements: Technical Skills Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and virtual machines Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams Experience working with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Comfortable supporting both Windows and Linux environments Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, hardware, and software Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar service management and documentation platforms Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or comparable endpoint management solutions Qualifications Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) are highly desirable What’s in it for you?
