Job Description We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst specializing in web and mobile application testing. This position is temporarily 100% remote; however, following the completion of our One Galle Face office construction, this position will be onsite two (2) days per week. Responsibilities: Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of test cases and test documentation based on business and technical requirements Execute test cases for web and mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and reliability Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing as assigned Support test automation efforts by executing existing automation scripts and assisting with script updates under guidance Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to help generate test scenarios, test data, and initial automation scripts Execute test cycles in response to: Code changes Configuration updates Bug fixes Minor enhancements Identify, document, and track software defects using established defect tracking tools, ensuring clear, accurate, and reproducible defect descriptions Validate defect fixes through re-testing and regression testing Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and understand expected system behavior Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Maintain accurate test execution records and contribute to basic testing metrics and status reporting Continuously learn and adopt QA tools, processes, and best practices, including emerging AI-driven testing techniques Perform additional QA-related tasks as assigned by leadership Requirements Completed relevant coursework or a minimum of six (6) months of experience performing QA tasks on web-based applications Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA best practices Experience creating and executing manual test cases Exposure to or foundational knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks Interest in or early experience using AI-based tools to assist with test case creation or automation scripting Experience in API testing with Postman Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments Strong attention to detail with the ability to clearly and accurately document test results and defects Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and improve Effective written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Good time management skills and the ability to follow priorities and deadlines A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, with a strong desire to build a career in Quality Assurance and test automation Benefits A diverse, inclusive workplace in which employees are heard, valued, and engaged Opportunities to work for a global company and to interact with colleagues and clients from around the world Flexible work hours and work-life balance Competitive base pay, as well as variable pay that rewards individual, team, and company performance Career progression and appreciation for excellent performers Opportunities to work on projects using the latest technologies and tools Comprehensive benefits packages Employer-sponsored training, coaching, and industry certifications
