About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Associate at Gate Ventures. You'll be embedded in the full investment lifecycle — sourcing, diligence, and execution — working directly with senior investors on high-conviction Web3 deals globally. Expect meaningful deal exposure, direct founder access, and a clear path to becoming a full-cycle venture investor.

What You'll Do

• Source and evaluate early-stage and growth-stage opportunities across the global crypto and blockchain ecosystem
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, funds, incubators, and ecosystem partners to drive proprietary deal flow
• Conduct thematic research and develop investment theses on emerging sectors
• Lead financial modelling, tokenomics analysis, market sizing, and competitive benchmarking
• Prepare investment memos and IC materials to support deal decisions
• Support structuring and execution of equity and token investments (SAFTs, SAFEs, token agreements)
• Monitor portfolio performance and track key on-chain metrics
• Contribute to Gate Ventures' broader ecosystem initiatives across VCs, accelerators, and strategic partners

What We're Looking For

• Background in early-stage venture, strategic investment, or M&A; with a strong command of equity investing and deal execution
• Direct experience investing at a crypto fund is a plus; genuine crypto conviction is a must
• Strong financial modelling skills — you're comfortable building models from scratch and stress-testing assumptions
• Deep understanding of tokenomics, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto market dynamics
• Sharp research and writing skills — you can turn complex ideas into clear investment theses
• Active network within the Web3 founder or investor ecosystem
