Intraday Power Trader | Finnish / Nordic Power Markets | Helsinki / Remote

A high-performing Nordic proprietary trading start-up is looking to hire an experienced Intraday Power Trader to join its growing desk.

The business is already trading profitably across the Finnish intraday power market and is now looking to expand further across the Nordic region, including Sweden and additional European markets.

This is a chance to join early, work directly with the founders, and have genuine influence over strategy, market expansion, and trading development.

What they’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience trading Nordic intraday power markets
• Strong experience across Finnish (FI) and/or Swedish (SE) power markets
• Traders with Danish (DK) exposure and some SE/FI knowledge are also encouraged to apply
• Proprietary trading experience preferred
• Understanding of at least one of the following:
• Cross-border power trading
• Algorithmic trading
• Quantitative / programming skillsets
• Power market analytics

The role:

• Proprietary day-ahead and intraday power trading
• Develop and improve discretionary and systematic trading strategies
• Work closely with the algorithmic trading function
• Support expansion into wider Nordic and European power markets

Location:

• Finland preferred, ideally Helsinki
• Remote / wider Nordic locations can also be considered

Package:
