STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago and it is still expanding worldwide. Our array of clients ranges from a wide variety of fields from technical to marketing. STAR7 Group is recruiting Simultaneous Interpreters from English into Polish to be part of our growing Teams. The linguist will provide simultaneous and/or consecutive translation, ensuring that: - target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source - high-grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references - a good quality audio (in case of RSI) Requirements Main requirements : - Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experience - Native speaker in one of the languages involved - Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing - Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language - Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities - Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Problem solving and decision-making skills - Experience with simultaneous & consecutive interpreting service - Experience with Interpretation systems (bidule) - Experience in translating technical courses would be a plus GDPR: In compliance with the REGULATION(EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons (GDPR), applying to this vacancy you will hereby authorise the recipient of your application to use and process your personal details for the purpose of sending you projects and job offers, recruiting, selecting staff for 10 years and you confirm to be informed of your rights.
