Our array of clients ranges from a wide variety of fields from technical to marketing. STAR7 Group is recruiting Simultaneous Interpreters from English into Japanese to be part of our growing Teams. The linguist will provide simultaneous and/or consecutive translation, ensuring that: - target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source - high-grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references - a good quality audio (in case of RSI) Requirements Main requirements : - Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experience - Native speaker in one of the languages involved - Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing - Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language - Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities - Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Problem solving and decision-making skills - Experience with simultaneous & consecutive interpreting service - Experience with Interpretation systems (bidule) - Experience in translating technical courses would be a plus
