Opportunity Overview This is a logistics ownership role responsible for end-to-end management of international freight from manufacturing origins in China to distribution centres and Amazon Fulfilment Centres across the US, Canada, UK and EU. You will own the full shipping lifecycle: from factory loadings and export documentation, through bookings via Amazon Global Logistics and third-party forwarders, to on-time arrival and customs compliance. Role Description You will operate as our client's central freight coordinator, working directly with Amazon Global Logistics, third-party forwarders and manufacturing partners to keep stock moving across primary markets. The role demands sharp judgement under pressure, a relentless focus on container utilisation and cost per unit, and the ability to spot capacity threats before they disrupt the plan. You will also keep internal systems including Monday.com and SAP ByDesign accurate and current. Key Responsibilities International Freight Management – Manage bookings from China origins to distribution centres across the US, Canada, UK and EU. AGL Account Ownership – Serve as primary point of contact for the Amazon Global Logistics account manager and shipping plan. Container Optimisation – Maximise utilisation and route efficiency to minimise cost per unit shipped across the network. Customs Compliance – Ensure documentation accuracy and full regulatory compliance across every international shipping lane. Systems & Reporting – Maintain critical path milestones on Monday.com and operate SAP ByDesign for logistics data input. Stakeholder Coordination – Work closely with supply chain, finance, merchandisers and manufacturing partners to resolve disruptions. Process Documentation – Build and maintain the knowledge pool around international freight and Amazon logistics processes. Minimum Qualifications Amazon Seller Central – 3+ years of experience, preferably in a logistics or operations capacity. AGL Bookings – 2+ years of direct experience making Amazon Global Logistics shipment bookings. Freight & Customs Knowledge – Strong understanding of international freight, customs clearance and import/export documentation. Communication – Strong written and spoken English with clear, proactive stakeholder updates and reporting. Detail & Accuracy – Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy you can stand behind under pressure. Problem-Solving Mindset – Energised by challenges, focused on solutions, and resilient when plans shift unexpectedly. Collaborative Operator – Team player who thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented commercial environment. Bonus Qualifications **Monday.com Experience** – Hands-on familiarity with Monday.com for tracking shipping milestones and critical paths. ERP Familiarity – Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP ByDesign, is a strong plus.
