Job Title: Integration Automation Tester (Playwright / TypeScript / API / K6)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Integration Automation Tester (Contractor) to support automation testing across enterprise integration and API platforms.

This is a automation role focused on API, integration, and performance testing, with strong emphasis on building scalable automation frameworks using TypeScript, Playwright, and K6.

The role requires close collaboration with developers and QA teams to ensure robust, reliable, and high-quality integrations across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright
• Build and execute API and integration automation tests (REST-based services)
• Develop and execute performance/load tests using K6
• Validate end-to-end integration workflows across APIs, services, and data pipelines
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Analyze automation failures, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve testability and automation coverage
• Contribute to automation-first testing practices and standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in test automation (5+ years preferred)
• Proficiency in:
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Playwright automation framework
• Strong experience in:
• API testing (REST services, JSON validation)
• Integration testing across distributed systems
• Strong SQL skills for backend validation and troubleshooting
• Experience building automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with K6 , Jmeter performance testing
• Exposure to event-driven architectures / message-based systems
• Familiarity with EDI concepts or workflows (basic understanding is sufficient)
• Experience working with enterprise integrations or ERP systems
