In this fully remote position, you will play a key role in supporting clinical and administrative operations—ensuring smooth, timely, and compassionate service to patients and families. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone experienced in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and claims support. The VA will work across multiple clinics, collaborating with in-person staff to reduce workload and improve efficiency. Mission-driven environment focused on patient well-being High-growth opportunity with room for expanded responsibilities Collaborative and supportive leadership team Direct impact on clinic operations and patient care Responsibilities Insurance-Related Tasks Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits (Availity, UHC, Cigna, Medicaid, Medicare, Railroad, regional payers) Obtain prior authorizations Assist with re-verifications during year-end periods Document insurance details in Prompt EMR Claims & Billing Expansion Support claims follow-up and calls to insurance providers (future phase) Patient Intake & Scheduling Assist with intake data as needed Support PCCs in insurance-related workflows Communication & Coordination Collaborate with PCCs and admin staff for smooth workflow Attend PCC-related meetings and contribute to discussions Data Entry & Documentation Maintain accurate insurance and authorization records Use clinic-provided email domain for secure portal access Requirements At least 1 year of experience in medical admin support or VA work Familiarity with U.S. insurance verification workflows Strong communication and organizational skills Fluent spoken and written English Comfortable working Mountain Time Zone business hours Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
