This role sits at the intersection of telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture, supporting the design and delivery of advanced, large-scale telco solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, operations, and customer teams, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable infrastructure architectures. The position requires deep expertise across cloud-native platforms, virtualization, networking, and telecom technologies, with a strong focus on automation and modern DevOps practices. You will lead architectural design discussions, ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems and technologies in highly distributed environments. Working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams, you will help drive adoption of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. The role is highly collaborative and customer-facing, with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and innovation. Accountabilities: Lead the design and architecture of telecom and cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with customer requirements and business goals. Translate complex technical and business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, support, product, and operations to deliver integrated solutions. Guide the adoption of automation, DevOps, and cloud-native practices to improve system efficiency and lifecycle management. Design and implement solutions leveraging virtualization, container platforms, and hybrid cloud technologies. Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of complex distributed systems. Develop technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and implementation guidelines. Provide technical leadership during customer engagements, design sessions, and project execution phases. Ensure alignment with best practices in networking, storage, security, and telecom infrastructure standards. Act as a mentor and technical advisor to internal teams and customer stakeholders. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, consulting, engineering, or related technical roles. Strong background in public cloud and Linux-based environments. 4+ years of experience in telecommunications systems and networking infrastructure. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt. Experience with Kubernetes-based platforms such as OpenShift, OpenStack, or similar container technologies. Strong knowledge of NFV, SDN, DPDK, SR-IOV, ZTP, and telecom networking concepts. Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, KVM, QEMU, or OpenStack. Familiarity with storage systems such as SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, or software-defined storage. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or ArgoCD. Strong understanding of enterprise networking (VLANs, routing, load balancers, IPAM tools). Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or private cloud platforms). Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken). Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.
