Infrastructure Counsel (EMEA Data Centers)

Legal.io is working with a leading technology company who is seeking an Infrastructure Counsel help with data center projects in EMEA. This is a 40 hour per week position and is fully remote.

Pay Rate: $100 - $112 / hr

Project Description

• Support EMEA infrastructure expansion, with a particular focus on planning, land use, development and environmental permitting in relation to hyperscale datacentre projects.
• A successful candidate will have experience in permitting large infrastructure process in EMEA jurisdictions and familiarity with EU environmental review processes.
• Provide strategic advice on planning, zoning, and environmental permitting
• Draft and negotiate development agreements
• Advocate changes to streamline permitting
• Managing external counsel
• Contribute to templates, playbooks, and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Substantive Law Experience:5–8+ years PQE with experience in real estate, planning, and environmental law, ideally with large infrastructure projects.
• Law firm, government, or in-house experience acceptable.

Jurisdictions

• Must be licensed as an attorney to practice in the UK or a EU member state.
