Industrial/Furniture Designer

The company specializes in creating sophisticated lighting designs tailored for the high-end residential segment, interior designers, and construction partners across the United States.

As the business enters its next phase of expansion, our client is seeking a (Senior) Industrial Designer who will play a key role in shaping the creative vision and product DNA of the brand, driving innovation and excellence across its product portfolio.

• Remote 100% - Mon to Fri
• Salary range: Up to 1000$ Gross + Incentives

Role Description As the Industrial Designer within the organization, this role will be responsible for shaping and owning the brand’s product design vision, identity, and roadmap. The Senior Industrial Designer will lead the end-to-end product development process—from market research, trend analysis, and concept creation to 3D modeling, prototyping, and production execution. Working closely with external design agencies, manufacturing partners in Asia, and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Growth, and Operations, the successful candidate will ensure all products consistently reflect the brand’s premium, handcrafted, and distinctive design language while driving innovation and commercial success.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Design and/or Product Design.
• Strong visionary mindset with the ability to define product direction and strategy, rather than simply executing briefs.
• Proven creativity and ability to develop unique product concepts, with a strong aesthetic sense suited to the premium market segment.
• Proficiency in 3D design and rendering software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, Blender, KeyShot, VRay, or equivalent tools.
• Experience creating technical drawings and collaborating with manufacturing partners.
• Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and the ability to independently manage projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience designing products within the lighting or furniture industry.
• Basic English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with factories, agencies, and international partners.
• Knowledge of natural materials (e.g., rattan, bamboo, wood, metal) and finishing/painting techniques.
