Role : Independent Attorney (Remote) Location : Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout : $80 - $105/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Contracting Attorney to work on a contract basis. This role involves contributing domain expertise to train next-generation AI systems by evaluating and refining model outputs through real-world contract negotiation scenarios. By participating in simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, you will help shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform across industries such as finance, healthcare, and engineering. No prior experience in AI is required—your legal expertise is what matters. Key Responsibilities: • Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to evaluate AI-generated suggestions for accuracy, risk identification, and legal soundness. • Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision. • Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria for AI model development. • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI-generated contract drafts and propose corrections aligned with legal standards. • Ensure high-quality legal input to enhance the reliability of AI systems used in contract drafting and negotiation. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract drafting, review, or negotiation within a legal or corporate environment. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess legal risks and implications in contract-related scenarios. • Familiarity with SaaS contracts, technology transactions, and data annotation practices in a legal context. • Demonstrated adaptability to evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs without prior AI experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate legal reasoning and feedback clearly.
