About the Role The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the national implementation function, ensuring the successful delivery of customer projects and installation activities across all regions. This role drives operational execution by managing scheduling, resource allocation, escalations, reporting, invoicing accuracy, and process optimisation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. The Implementation Manager serves as a key operational leader, partnering closely with internal teams, clients, and field technicians to maintain service excellence, improve operational performance, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Operational Management Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation and installation process across multiple regions and projects Prepare and oversee detailed work scopes, scheduling plans, and technician allocations to support on-time project delivery Manage technician capacity, workload prioritisation, and resource planning to meet customer and business requirements Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations Identify, manage, and mitigate operational and delivery risks Client & Stakeholder Management Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle Provide regular project updates, resolve issues proactively, and ensure a positive customer experience Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and field technicians Act as the primary escalation point for operational and project-related issues Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Monitor installation performance, project progress, and operational KPIs across the implementation function Analyse areas of operational inefficiency or technical performance concerns and drive corrective actions Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling, delivery efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction Develop reporting and visibility tools to support operational decision-making and performance management Billing, Reporting & Cost Management Oversee post-installation reconciliation activities, ensuring purchase orders, technician costs, products used, and installed assets are accurately captured for invoicing Ensure accurate and timely billing processes in collaboration with Finance and Operations teams Prepare and deliver weekly implementation and operational performance reports Monitor project costs, manage purchase orders, and ensure adherence to approved budgets Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop the Implementation Coordinators and scheduling team Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture Support employee development, accountability, and continuous learning within the team Drive alignment and collaboration across Operations, Sales, Logistics, Technical Support, and Finance teams Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, or a related field preferred 5+ years of experience in implementation, operations, project management, or field service leadership roles Strong leadership and people management experience Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and operational functions simultaneously Experience working within field service, installation, or technical operations environments preferred Strong problem-solving, escalation management, and decision-making skills Financial and operational understanding, including invoicing, cost management, and reporting Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills Process improvement and continuous improvement mindset Success Measures On-time and successful project delivery High customer satisfaction and service quality Accurate billing and invoicing reconciliation Effective escalation resolution within agreed SLAs Improved operational efficiency and implementation performance Development and leadership of a high-performing implementation team Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Powerfleet is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
