We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build AI systems that truly understand how identity and access management works in the real world: how it's designed, where it breaks, and how attackers exploit it. If you've spent time working with IAM, SSO, or access control systems and you understand what goes wrong in practice — not just in theory — this role puts that expertise to work in a meaningful new way. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and failure points Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related security failures Evaluate zero-trust models, access design decisions, and least-privilege implementations Generate and validate realistic identity security scenarios used to train and evaluate AI systems Provide structured expert feedback that helps AI reason accurately about IAM risk Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms Strong familiarity with RBAC, least-privilege models, and access review processes Solid understanding of how identity failures occur and how they are exploited Ability to explain complex access control concepts clearly in writing Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Nice to Have Experience with platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk, SailPoint, or similar Familiarity with zero-trust architecture frameworks Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security auditing Experience writing security documentation, threat models, or access control policies Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — set your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global expert community Your real-world security expertise directly improves how AI understands and reasons about enterprise risk Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
