We're looking for IAM professionals who understand how identity systems fail in the real world and can help AI reason about those failures accurately. This is a rare opportunity to take your hands-on security expertise beyond the enterprise and directly shape how next-generation AI understands access control, privilege escalation, and identity risk. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failure patterns Review zero-trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves how AI reasons about enterprise identity risk Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them in real environments Able to think analytically about complex access control scenarios and communicate findings clearly Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async, remote environment Nice to Have Experience with platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or SailPoint Familiarity with identity threat models, zero-trust architecture, or PAM solutions Background in security engineering, cloud security, or penetration testing Prior experience contributing to AI training, red-teaming, or security research Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs worldwide Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that makes AI systems safer and more security-aware Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
