We are an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, creative team of fourteen, looking for someone who loves human resources, client management and employee relations to join our team and serve our clients in a remote setting.
Human Resources Client Lead
The Human Resources Client Lead (Consultant) will work with the Your Other Half team to provide human resources services to small business clients across the US.
Key Results for 2026
Directly supporting and providing services for eight to fourteen clients, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and on-time results that meet and exceed the clients’ needs. This work will be in collaboration with the CEO, and with the support of the Human Resources Compliance Analyst, Human Resources Research Associate, and fellow client leads.
Maintaining proactive and responsive daily communications with clients and colleagues through Zoom video or phone meetings, email, text, or Slack.
Recognize and communicate to clients about opportunities for additional products or services that can improve their overall business as it relates to people.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Human Resources Client Lead will perform the following roles and responsibilities:
- Leading the work for eight to fourteen Your Other Half clients, including:
- Client Management: Managing daily, weekly and monthly client communications, as well as attending client calls, and writing and sending meeting and weekly wrap-ups. Tracking all deliverables for each of your clients and ensuring their successful and timely completion using our project management software, Asana.
- HR Process Implementation: Drafting, updating and editing Human Resources documents, such as job descriptions or postings, employment agreements, employee handbooks, and organizational charts, with attention to a high level of detail and process.Preparing, sending, and reviewing Human Resources onboarding and hiring documents, using web-based software, with a focus on reviewing client-specific processes as well as HR requirements.
- Benefits & Compensation Administration: Managing the benefits quoting process with insurance brokers, payroll companies and PEOs, including gathering census data and required documents. Preparing and processing payroll using web-based software, including managing employee timesheets and working closely with clients for timely completion.
- Records Management: Managing Human Resources data, including client and internal HRIS, Human Resources calendars, spreadsheets and timelines, as well as distributing and recording of data, such as sending annual notices and recording receipts.
- Client Leadership: Working closely with the client to understand their business’s strategic needs, and working with the Your Other Half team to identify, recommend, and implement HR solutions and strategies for the client that address those strategic needs. This can include additional services that have already been created by Your Other Half, such as employee surveys, stay interviews, compensation grades, performance management systems, management training, or new, bespoke solutions you develop with Your Other Half’s support and guidance based on the client’s needs.
- Contributing to the creation and upkeep of operating procedures and systems within Your Other Half’s business and our clients' businesses.
About You, the Candidate
A strong candidate will be or have:
- Human Resources Pro: A current or former HR professional with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience (ideally with at least 2 years working within a small business environment) and at least two (2) years working in a fully remote environment;
- Expert Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to write and edit adeptly; as well as the ability to provide clear information in a timely way to support internal or client decisions;
- Master Juggler: Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities at once, and prioritizing amongst them with ease while also maintaining accuracy and high quality across multiple responsibilities;
- Tech Savvy: Experience with online tools including at least three of the following: Asana, Harvest, HelloSign, Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom; and the ability to learn new things quickly, especially web-based softwares and apps;
- Team Player: A positive, optimistic attitude, and the ability to recognize and celebrate wins of all sizes; and an openness to constructive, supportive feedback and a commitment to consistently improve; and
- Adaptable: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where the work day passes quickly; and
- Gives 100%: Care deeply about their work and clients, and also has the ability to disengage mentally and emotionally before and after scheduled work hours as well as on weekends, holidays and during PTO for their own well-being.
The ideal candidate will be or have:
- Experience working with multiple bosses, clients or projects at one time;
- Calm under pressure and unflappable in the face of timely or urgent requests;
- Able to not only do the work, but also think about how it could be better and more efficient; and
- Have advanced knowledge and/or training in one or more of the following human resources speciality areas: payroll, benefits, total compensation, organizational design, performance management, policy development, employee onboarding or offboarding, learning and development, change management, talent acquisition, survey development, quantitative survey and data analysis, qualitative focus group and interview data analysis, qualitative or motivational interviewing, employee investigations, and/or employee relations.

Target start date: August 2026 (or sooner)
Position compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
Position Location: This is a remote position, but the employee must be based in the U.S.
