This full-time role is remote-based, with India as the primary location, and involves managing HR functions across multiple geographies, particularly focusing on India and the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and refining HR systems, policies, and processes to support rapid growth, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with local and international labor laws. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the founders and leadership team, contributing to the development of a high-performance, innovative, and growth-oriented organizational environment. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, combining strategic vision with hands-on operational execution, to support Bikham’s expanding global workforce. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a strong preference for those who have recent experience working night shifts and recruiting for US-based roles. Proven expertise managing HR operations in India, along with exposure to US hiring practices and compliance standards, is essential. A background in overseeing recruitment teams, developing HR policies, and managing global workforce dynamics will be highly valued. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, with an MBA in HR or equivalent being preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR operations. Responsibilities HR Leadership & Department Management Lead and oversee the entire HR function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and growth strategies. Develop and implement scalable HR systems that support international operations and organizational expansion. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people strategy, organizational development, and HR best practices. Talent Acquisition Oversight Manage and guide the talent acquisition team to streamline hiring processes and improve candidate experience. Participate in recruiting senior and specialized roles, especially US-based positions, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition. Align recruitment strategies with company culture, growth objectives, and compliance standards. HR Policies, SOPs & Employee Handbook Design, implement, and regularly update HR policies, SOPs, and organizational procedures across departments. Maintain comprehensive employee handbooks and documentation to ensure clarity and compliance. Ensure HR practices adhere to India labor laws and align with US compliance standards. Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, addressing concerns and workplace issues professionally. Promote a workplace environment based on transparency, trust, and open communication. Support employees and managers in resolving workplace conflicts and fostering engagement. Performance Management Coordination Collaborate with the Performance Management System team to facilitate regular check-ins and performance reviews. Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess team and individual performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives. Employee Engagement & Culture Building Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and retention.
