About this Job General Summary of Position Provides the primary interface between Human Resources (HR) and Information Services Departments. Responsible for understanding user needs and maintaining HRIS applications to support the decision-making and operations of HR. Serves on HRIS project teams. Analyzes and evaluates current and future user requirements procedures and issues to assist in the technical development of in-house HR applications. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Acts as lead system administrator for ERP and HR Web Applications: User requirements quality testing user acceptance testing and sign off; Process evaluation analysis and problem solving; Data imports exports and mass updates; and Security administration. May act as lead in multifunctional software implementations. Benefits Administration for 403b and 403f plan setup. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. Creates complex ad hoc and standard queries and reports. Understands data elements tables and relationships in all HR databases. Determines the appropriate reporting tool for the need. Develops custom process-specific HR solutions to complement existing HR ERP and Web applications. Develops user-friendly front ends utilizing MS Access tools. Conducts periodic mass data uploads. Develops and performs data interfaces and process automation. Develops correct logic for system code to meet requirements. Leads HRIS project teams and provides project management. Works with other HR staff on specific HR project teams. May act as lead in large multifunctional software implementations. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares coordinates and conducts HR system user training. Prepares user documentation. Conducts product demos and presentations. Coordinates training schedule registration training rooms and user test system security access. Provides leadership in the implementation of improvements system upgrades enhancements and modifications to HR software applications. Outlines business need changes specifications and work-flows. Tests and analyzes new system functionality. Coordinates system testing with other project team members. Provides technical writing of HRIS processes and HRIS procedures. Evaluates existing documentation and makes revisions as necessary. Creates documentation to define new HR processes. Supports HR users as a system expert. Provides analysis and problem solving to address all issues. Provides telephone support to users regarding various software issues and questions. Builds partnerships with HR and business stakeholders - participates in PeopleSoft system configuration design sessions providing expertise on how configuration Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate. Participates in meetings serves on committees and represents the department and hospital/facility in community outreach efforts as appropriate. Works closely with AVP HR Technology and Supervisor HRIS Transactions to deliver tools and system solutions provide monthly review and assessment of HR Technology solution performance and adoption. Minimal Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Business Administration or related field required Experience 5-7 years Experience in the maintenance and updating of proprietary computer systems preferably the peoplesoft system; experience with the end-user role in developing products and/or processes to support human resources required Licenses and Certifications No special certification registration or licensure required Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong problem solving and analytic ability to evaluate and translate to system design and set up. Knowledge of computer languages. Knowledge of office application products i.e. Word Excel and Access. Knowledge of database elements relationships and query concepts. Knowledge of Human Resources information and practices. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write user documentation and procedures clearly and concisely. Ability to keep HR data confidential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced organization. Ability to work well with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization. This position has a hiring range of USD $82,617.00 - USD $157,352.00 /Yr.
