Capax is assisting one of our clients in finding a freelance
HP-UX System Administrator
for a project focused on managing and supporting mission-critical systems. The assignment is with an international company within transport and logistics, where you will be part of ensuring availability and stability in a large-scale IT environment.
Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain HP-UX servers and environments.
Troubleshoot system incidents, performance issues, and implement fixes.
Support migration, patching, and upgrade activities.
Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with internal standards.
Requirements
Proven experience with HP-UX system administration.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, scripting, and system tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as a consultant and deliver reliable results.
Project scope
The project is scheduled to start in September and will run for several months. Some on-site presence may be required, with flexibility for remote work depending on project needs.
