Home-based Research Nurse for Patient Recruitment (Freelance, Germany)

Our mission is to provide all patients with the opportunity to engage in clinical research.   We are looking to hire part-time Research Nurses to support our existing team in Germany in interviewing, qualifying, and referring patients to clinical trials. As one of James Lind Care’s Research Nurses in Germany, you will play a key role in representing the company to research sites and, most importantly, supporting and guiding patients in our community towards relevant clinical trials.  The position:   This role is ideal for professionals who are nurses by training, with experience in clinical research (e.g. Research Nurses or CRAs).  Candidate Profile:   Professionally trained nurse (required); clinical research experience is an advantage  Strong patient communication skills and motivation to guide patients through clinical trials  Strong collaboration skills  Independent, self-reliant, and positive mindset  English proficiency at intermediate level or higher  Native German speaker or equivalent level  Key responsibilities:   Conduct telephone-based qualification of patients through interviews and assessment of self-reported health data  Refer eligible patients to appropriate research sites  Collaborate with research sites, sponsors’ CRAs, and internal teams as needed  Support a smooth and positive patient journey from initial contact to referral  Work closely with James Lind Care’s Research Nurse team across Germany and Europe  Collaborate with the wider study team, including project managers and recruitment specialists  Working conditions   Freelance, home-based position with flexible, self-managed working hours  Expected workload of approximately 20 hours per week, depending on project activity  Candidates should be available within this range, although workload may vary  James Lind Care will provide you with access to a secure cloud-based computer (Cloud PC). Please note that candidates are required to have their own laptop to access this system.
