Hedge Fund Investment Research Specialist
Role Overview
Drive high-conviction long/short equity research through deep financial analysis, earnings interpretation, and investment thesis development.

$200/hour | Minimum 10 hours/week | Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Build and refine detailed financial models to support long/short investment strategies
- Develop structured investment memos with clear thesis articulation and risk framing
- Conduct earnings analysis, forecasting, and variance interpretation across sectors
- Perform market sizing and TAM analysis to validate opportunity scale and positioning
- Synthesize research insights into concise, decision-ready outputs
Core Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in hedge fund-oriented long/short equity research workflows
- Strong command of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear investment insights
- High precision in analytical reasoning and written investment communication
- Comfort operating independently with consistent output quality
