The Training Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the full training lifecycle by partnering closely with the Senior Training Manager and Trainers to plan, coordinate, monitor, and continuously improve training operations. Responsibilities Create, manage, and maintain complex training schedules, records, trackers, dashboards, and reporting within Excel to support daily training operations and leadership visibility Maintain accurate, current, and audit-ready training documentation, records, and reporting to ensure visibility across trainee progress, compliance requirements, and operational readiness Build, update, and manage Excel-based reporting tools using formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and data validation to support training operations, reporting accuracy, and decision-making Prepare, maintain, and communicate weekly and monthly reporting summaries, including training status, trainee progress, performance trends, completion results, and operational risks Partner with trainers to coordinate new hire onboarding, required training sessions, and trainee progression throughout the full training lifecycle Track training completion and ensure all sessions, documentation, and required records are completed accurately and on time Proactively communicate delays, gaps, risks, or operational issues impacting training schedules, reporting, or trainee progression, ensuring leadership has clear visibility and timely resolution Manage and maintain training documentation and shared resources across Excel-based trackers, reporting tools, dashboards, and SharePoint sites Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying reporting gaps, improving tracker efficiency, and leveraging automation or AI tools where appropriate to strengthen workflow management and operational accuracy Support operational accountability across the training team by monitoring and following up on outstanding items to ensure reporting, documentation, and required records remain accurate and up to date Support additional training operations needs and special projects as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Proven experience as a Coordinator, Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar operational support role Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience managing large volumes of data, building and maintaining reports, using formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, automation, and organizing reporting for clear operational visibility Experience working within SharePoint, including maintaining files, organizing resources, and supporting team accessibility to shared documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across employees, leadership, and cross-functional teams Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and Skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high-volume work with accuracy and consistency Strong reporting, documentation, and record-management skills with a high level of comfort handling structured data, repetitive processes, and operational follow-through Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong working knowledge of Excel, including reporting, formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and managing large volumes of data; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or operational risks quickly, escalate concerns proactively, and drive follow-up to resolution Strong communication skills with the confidence to follow up, ask clarifying questions, and ensure accountability across trainers, leadership, and cross-functional partners Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong independent decision-making skills with sound judgment across a variety of day-to-day operational situations Self-motivated with strong ownership, follow-up habits, and the ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed and aligned What we offer: EXL Health offers an exciting, fast paced, and innovative environment, which brings together a group of sharp and entrepreneurial professionals who are eager to influence business decisions.
