Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Healthcare Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator to join our growing healthcare staffing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling nurses for client facilities, ensuring all shifts are filled efficiently while maintaining exceptional service levels for both healthcare professionals and clients.
The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare staffing, workforce scheduling, recruiting, or a related field and thrives in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving, communication, and organization are essential.

Monday to Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate nurses for client shifts based on availability, credentials, qualifications, and client requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times.
Communicate with nurses regarding shift assignments, schedule updates, availability, and staffing needs.
Respond quickly to call-offs, staffing shortages, and last-minute scheduling requests.
Build and maintain positive relationships with nurses, healthcare professionals, and client facilities through professional communication.
Collaborate with recruiting and staffing teams to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified nursing staff.
Monitor and update staffing records within the company's scheduling and staffing systems.
Verify that all staffing assignments meet credentialing requirements and client expectations.
Provide outstanding customer service and support to both healthcare professionals and clients.
Generate scheduling reports and staffing updates as required.
Assist in improving scheduling processes and workforce management efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, workforce management, recruiting, or a similar role.
Experience working within a healthcare staffing agency, healthcare facility, or healthcare recruitment environment is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of scheduling and staffing processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Technical Requirements
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, and Drive).
Experience using scheduling software, staffing platforms, workforce management systems, or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Comfortable learning and utilizing company-specific software and internal systems.
Strong computer navigation and data-entry skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience scheduling nurses, CNAs, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals.
Experience with healthcare staffing agencies or workforce management platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare credentialing and compliance requirements.
Recruiting or talent acquisition experience within the healthcare industry.
