At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to train cutting-edge models — and we need MPH-level specialists to keep those models honest, rigorous, and aligned with scientific consensus. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your domain knowledge directly shapes how millions of people may one day receive health information from AI. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Build advanced challenge problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, epidemiological analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current public health guidelines from bodies like the CDC and WHO Audit AI-Generated Health Content — Evaluate AI responses for factual accuracy, logical consistency, potential bias, and adherence to ethical health communication standards Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk appropriately, and address diverse populations with cultural sensitivity Who You Are Holder of a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy Skilled at translating complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written information Highly detail-oriented when it comes to statistical significance, source citations, and the logic of health interventions No prior AI experience required — we'll onboard you fully Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance Why Join Us Work on meaningful, high-impact projects at the frontier of AI development Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to work from anywhere Direct engagement with industry-leading large language models Potential for ongoing contract renewals and expanded projects
