Head of IT Security

This small, but growing, SaaS company is seeking a hands-on Head of Information / IT Security to lead and develop its security capability. This is a broad leadership role requiring a genuine security generalist — someone comfortable driving strategy and compliance, but also rolling up their sleeves technically when needed.

You’ll oversee security across governance (the business is ISO27001 certified), engineering, cloud (AWS), operations (with 3rd party support), and risk, working closely with technical and senior stakeholders across the business. The environment is agile and collaborative, making this well suited to someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and building scalable security practices within a smaller organisation.

The successful candidate is likely to be a former security engineer, with good cloud and DevSecOps knowledge, who has since moved into a broader leadership role which also covers governance and compliance.

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates currently in the UK only. There is no visa sponsorship available.

£110,000 base salary + benefits
