Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Head of Commercial Growth – Market Research. The person in this role will define and execute the commercial growth strategy, including revenue planning, pipeline development, and prioritization of target segments across consulting and market research clients. The role involves overseeing client acquisition and retention initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape offerings, pricing, and go-to-market plans. The Head of Commercial Growth will manage and mentor a small commercial team, coordinate with finance on forecasting and budgeting, and regularly engage with senior client stakeholders to identify opportunities for expansion. This role requires an individual who can move seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, services-focused business. Qualifications Strong business planning and strategic growth skills, including market analysis, pipeline planning, and revenue forecasting. Advanced analytical skills to interpret commercial data, evaluate performance, and translate insights into clear action plans. Proven experience in commercial management, including ownership of targets, pricing decisions, and client portfolio growth. Demonstrated team management capabilities, with experience coaching and developing commercial, sales, or account management teams. Solid finance understanding, including budgeting, P&L awareness, and collaboration with finance partners on forecasts and resource allocation. Background in market research, expert networks, consulting, or related B2B services is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with comfort engaging senior decision-makers. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus. Ability to thrive in a remote, globally oriented environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
