Handyman/Helper

Job Function The role of the Handyman/Helper is to perform mounting of furniture/home appliances, maintenance and servicing duties in the premises of the company. The Handyman/Helper will also be part of the day to day running of the logistics operations. Main duties and responsibilities Ensure that the mounting of furniture/home appliances are done as per instructions from the Head of Department Comply with the mounting plan for all mounting operations Ensure that all products are handled in a secured manner to prevent damages and injuries Provide prompt maintenance support to ensure the smooth day to day operations Perform inspections as may be instructed by management and do the necessary repairs to ensure that every segment is in compliance with required standards and in good running condition Reception of products in the warehouse as per instruction from the Head of Department Inform the Head of Department in case products are damaged Warehousing of products in the required location Loading and unloading of products in the delivery truck/van Delivery of products at the customer’s place as per instructions provided by the Head of Department or person designated by management of the company Profile Minimum SC or equivalent certificate Experience in mounting of furniture and in a similar work environment would be an advantage Physically fit and healthy and good eyesight Ability to work effectively under pressure Willing to work odd hours
