The company is looking for a Mid-to-Senior Asterisk Developer to join our development team and help us enhance our platform, develop new features, and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities As an Asterisk Developer, you will: Develop, support, troubleshoot and implement new features on our telephony infrastructure Fine-tune and support our SIP/telephony application infrastructure, including Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, and OpenSIPS. Develop and implement new features Work with our front-end GUI team to create innovative functionalities within our hosted telephony platform. Create complex IVRs & dial plans Build, maintain, and enhance IVR flows, call routing logic, and dial plans within Asterisk. Develop and maintain scripting tools Implement automation tools using shell scripting, PHP, or other relevant languages. Optimize database performance Collaborate with MySQL DBAs to fine-tune database performance for high availability and scalability. Lead and contribute to telephony projects Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance our communication services. Support unified communications Implement and enhance voice, text, email, video, and chat solutions for a seamless experience. Research and recommend new technologies Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and suggesting software and hardware solutions for improved efficiency. Required Qualifications 4+ years of telephony system administration and development experience with Asterisk. 2+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or other distributions). Experience with AWS, Git, Docker. Experience in SaaS, CaaS, or hosted telephony environments. Strong programming skills in AGI scripting PHP). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MySQL and database optimization. Hands-on experience in creating and managing IVRs and dial plans within Asterisk. Bonus / Good to have Some experience working with PHP, shell scripting. Asterisk upgrade/conversion experience is a strong plus. Knowledge of Linux-based telephony applications like OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, VoIP.
