We connect passionate volunteer developers, designers, and product thinkers with early-stage founders who need help turning ideas into MVPs. We offer a practical learning environment for people who want hands-on experience while contributing to real startup teams. Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Growth Lead to drive BetaBuilder’s internal marketing initiatives and accelerate user, community, and brand growth. This role will focus on designing and executing growth strategies, optimising internal processes, and building scalable systems to increase engagement and reach outside of Australia and New Zealand, in the APAC region. As a key contributor in a remote environment, it is expected from this role to collaborate cross-functionally with other team members and BB Startups to experiment, analyse, and refine growth tactics that support our mission and long-term sustainability. What You’ll Do: ● Design and implement data-driven growth strategies aligned with startup goals, considering early stages of the startup without initial capital investment ● Identify opportunities across acquisition, activation, retention, and referral channels ● Build and iterate on growth experiments and frameworks ● Define key growth metrics (non financial related, as for example, conversion rates, engagement, retention) ● Continuously optimise strategies through testing (A/B testing, user feedback loops) ● Guide a small team of volunteer contributors (marketing/content) and collaborate with the Social Media Team to align campaigns with goals. What We’re Looking For: ● Problem-solving mindset & ability to work in a distributed team ● Strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse audience. ● Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed environment.
