Live across 16+ African markets. Bootstrapped. Growing. Ready to scale. The role: You will own user acquisition, activation, and retention. You will not write press releases. You will run experiments, talk to customers, and move metrics. Your work will directly determine how fast LightUp grows. What you will do: Own the installer acquisition funnel – from first contact to paid subscription Design and run growth experiments (referrals, partnerships, content, paid ads) Map user journeys and remove friction (calculator → PDF report → installer contact) Engage directly with installers, homeowners, and partners to find adoption barriers Work with me (founder) and our content creator to turn insights into action What we are looking for: 2+ years in growth, user acquisition, or customer-facing role (startup experience preferred) Analytical – you know how to measure CAC, LTV, and conversion rates Hands-on – you will talk to customers daily, not just stare at dashboards Hungry – you want to build something that matters and are not afraid of ambiguity Bonus: experience in energy, climate, or emerging markets Why join: Founding team equity (not a salary – at least initially) Work directly with the founder Build a product used by real people across Africa No corporate BS.
