In this critical role, you will partner with Grant Program Managers to oversee the full lifecycle of our grant-funded projects, ensuring strict alignment with agency, state, and federal regulations. As our compliance champion, you will manage contract lifecycles, drive audit preparedness, and act as the ultimate approval gate for all grant expenditures—verifying that every payment is allowable, allocable, and reasonable. Key Responsibilities Support grant program development, implementation, project management, monitoring and closeout activities to ensure compliance with all funding conditions Oversee operational integrity across grant programs, including contracts and agreements, procurement alignment, financial oversight, documentation standards, and audit readiness throughout the grant lifecycle Coordinate with the Attorney General’s Office, project partners, and stakeholders to develop, interpret, and implement grant-related agreements and ensure consistent application of legal and program requirements Manage program performance through data tracking, monitoring, analysis, reporting, budget oversight, and communication of program outcomes Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years experience administering federal grant programs and managing the full grant lifecycle from award through closeout, including compliance monitoring and performance oversight Knowledge of federal grant requirements (2 CFR 200), state procurement processes, financial management standards, and publicly funded program administration Ability to interpret complex program and regulatory requirements and translate them into effective implementation strategies and operational procedures Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and concurrent program activities Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting agreements, preparing reports, presenting findings, and communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments while independently driving work forward and anticipating program needs Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting or coordinating contract development, review, and execution in collaboration with legal counsel, including subrecipient agreements, MOUs/MOAs, and program contracts Experience implementing and maintaining grant compliance frameworks, including monitoring subrecipient performance, reviewing documentation, and ensuring alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements Experience conducting program monitoring activities such as technical reviews, data validation, and audit preparation to ensure quality and compliance of grant-funded work Experience with financial management, including budget oversight, expenditure tracking, reimbursement review, and implementation of internal financial controls to ensure allowable, allocable, and reasonable costs Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, legal counsel, private sector partners, contractors, and community organizations Experience managing, analyzing, and reporting program data and performance metrics to support decision-making and accountability Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, guidance documents, or standard operating practices Experience with government processes and publicly funded programs Proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Knowledge of environmental programs, vehicle or equipment electrification, workforce development initiatives, or related subject areas About the Role Location – 195 North 1950 West Salt Lake City, Utah, 84116 United States Background Check Required – You must successfully pass a criminal history check.
