You will be the voice of our initiatives, developing strategies that encourage program participation while actively engaging with stakeholders, program partners, and community organizations to promote successful program outcomes, you will be vital in establishing consistent messaging for our expanding grant programs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic outreach, engagement, and communication strategies that encourage participation in air quality incentive programs and support program visibility and effectiveness Manage and execute external communications and engagement activities, including presentations, webinars, workshops, surveys, tabling events, stakeholder meetings, and social media content for air quality incentive programs Coordinate with internal program staff and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, alignment with program goals, and effective program delivery Communicate and promote program progress and outcomes through methods including online dashboards, websites, social media, and reports Serve as the primary public-facing point of contact for air quality incentive programs, supporting external inquiries, partner coordination, and program engagement efforts Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years experience developing and executing outreach, public engagement, communications or stakeholder engagement strategies that support participation in public programs or initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences and engage in public speaking opportunities Ability to translate complex technical program details into clear, effective public-facing messaging, presentations, and other outreach materials Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-motivated team player with the ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities and support collaborative program implementation and operation Preferred Qualifications: Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders including government agencies, community organizations, private sector partners, and the public Experience coordinating projects or initiatives involving multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or other desktop publishing tools, and Google Workspace Ability to analyze program data, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to inform outreach strategies and improve program participation and effectiveness Experience with digital communication tools, presentations, outreach platforms, websites, dashboards, or social media coordination Experience supporting publicly funded programs, community initiatives, and government programs Knowledge of Utah's air quality, environmental incentive programs, and government processes About the Role Location – 195 North 1950 West Salt Lake City, Utah, 84116 United States Background Check Required – You must successfully pass a criminal history check.
