Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Istanbul, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. As a Government Relations Coordinator, the primary responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, analyzing public policies, tracking legislative updates, and supporting the development of strategies to enhance bilateral business cooperation. The role involves preparing reports, organizing events, and serving as a liaison between key stakeholders, both in Turkey and the United States. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Government Relations and understanding of Local Government dynamics Proven ability to navigate within the Public Sector and engage with relevant stakeholders Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences Robust Analytical Skills for assessing policies, interpreting data, and identifying opportunities Fluency in both Turkish and English Strong organizational and project management abilities Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field Experience in a similar role or within a business association is advantageous Key Responsibilities Administrative & Operational Support • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Government Relations Director. • Track ongoing initiatives, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely follow-up. • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and monitor action points. • Maintain organized records of stakeholder contacts, meetings, and correspondence. Committee Coordination • Support the planning and coordination of committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation. • Assist in preparing meeting materials, presentations, and summaries. • Follow up with members to ensure engagement and timely input. Stakeholder & Government Engagement Support • Assist in maintaining communication with government institutions, NGOs, and members. • Support the preparation of briefings, talking points, and background materials. • Coordinate logistics for external meetings, events, and official visits.  Research & Reporting • Conduct desk research on policy, regulatory, and sectoral developments as assigned. • Support drafting summaries, reports, and presentations. • Compile data and inputs for internal and external communications.  Internal Coordination • Coordinate with internal teams (communications, events, project teams) to support government relations activities. • Assist in aligning calendars, communications, and deliverables across teams.  Event & Meeting Support • Provide logistical support for events, roundtables, and high-level meetings. • Assist with invitations, participant coordination, and follow-up communication.
