Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Global Performance Marketing Specialist focused on Google Ads for ecommerce brands and high-budget scaling. In this role, you will plan, build, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube) to drive qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue. You will manage and scale high-budget campaigns, conduct ongoing A/B tests, refine bidding strategies, and optimize account structures for efficiency and growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing performance data, creating reports and insights, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and aligning campaigns with overall marketing and commercial objectives. You will also research new markets, audiences, and opportunities, and stay current on platform changes and best practices in global performance marketing. Qualifications Strong marketing foundation, with skills in Marketing, International Marketing, and Market Research to plan and optimize global performance campaigns. Effective Communication and Sales skills to present strategy, performance insights, and growth opportunities to stakeholders and partners. Proven experience managing and scaling high-budget Google Ads campaigns for ecommerce, including Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube. Advanced analytical ability, including proficiency with Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools, and confidence working with data to drive decisions. Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across multiple time zones and markets. Familiarity with conversion tracking, attribution models, and feed management tools for ecommerce (e.g., Google Merchant Center). Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a contract, remote environment. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in performance marketing.
