The Initiative Mercor is recruiting highly analytical professionals to evaluate AI-generated responses and provide structured, deeply reasoned written feedback. This is a unique opportunity for exceptional writers and critical thinkers to directly contribute to and shape high-impact frontier AI research projects.

💰 Compensation & Structure

🔹 Rate: $70 USD per hour.

🔹 Format: 100% Remote, independent contractor role. Completely flexible schedule (can be completed on your own time).

🔹 Payments: Processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

🎯 Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs with strong critical reading skills, identifying nuances, implicit meanings, and gaps in reasoning.
• Write exceptionally clear, precise, and well-evidenced rationales that go far beyond surface-level observations.
• Provide consistent, honest judgment, including delivering critical assessments when AI logic fails.
• Apply structured evaluation guidelines with strict attention to detail.
• Strict Requirement: All evaluations and feedback must be generated using 100% human reasoning. The use of any AI writing tools is strictly prohibited for this role.

✅ Strict Eligibility & Profile Requirements

✔️ Education: A Bachelor's degree from a Top-500 globally ranked university is highly preferred.

✔️ Language & Delivery: Must possess native-level fluency in English, demonstrating an impeccable command of grammar, syntax, and advanced writing structure.

✔️ Skills: Elite-level analytical thinking and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
