Job Title: General Accountant (NetSuite Expert) Location: Remote Start Date: ASAP (Target: Monday Start) Engagement Type: Independent Contractor / Full-Time Industry: HVAC Job Summary: We are urgently looking for a highly skilled General Accountant with strong experience in NetSuite and advanced Excel proficiency to support a time-sensitive data migration project . This is a short-turnaround role, with a preferred ASAP start date, aimed at helping the team finalize the NetSuite data migration and support ongoing accounting operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the final phases of NetSuite data migration , ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Review and reconcile migrated data against legacy systems. Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and working files in Excel. Collaborate with the internal finance and systems teams to troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure a smooth migration process. Support ad hoc general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of general accounting experience . Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, etc.). Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines. Preferred: Experience with data migration projects or ERP implementations. CPA or equivalent certification (a plus but not required).
