We are building bla.app, a playful language learning app for kids aged 4–9. We are looking for a Game Designer who can help us create simple, fun and educational gameplay concepts for children. This is not a programming role. Your job is to think, design and propose game ideas. We need someone who can actively help us answer questions like: How can children learn words in a fun way? How can a word become a small mini-game? How can we make the app fun without making it overloaded? How can we create rewards, progress and retention? The app should be simple, playful and educational. Example: The child learns the word “apple”. They see the apple, find it, say “apple”, play a small mini-game like putting the apple into a basket, then hear/use a sentence like “The apple is in the basket.” We are looking for someone creative, practical and proactive who can bring strong concepts and ideas to the team. Experience with kids games, mobile games, casual games or educational games is a strong plus. Please only apply if you can start immediately and are open to a full-time remote role. Hiring process: 1. Application 2. Small concept test task if selected 3. Online meeting 4. Full-time remote job offer if everything fits We want to decide this week. Test task deadline is Sunday if selected.
