This is a fractional engagement on a full time basis, with possibilities for extension. What You Will Do Own month-end close, reporting integrity, and close schedule for the country. Lead local statutory and regulatory compliance for the German business. Coordinate tax data collection, including VAT, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Act as the key bridge between local operations and Shared Service Centers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. Provide insights that support business decisions in a fast-evolving, transformation-focused environment. What You Bring Fluent in English and at least conversational in German. Proven expertise in German GAAP is a plus, US GAAP is a plus, IFRS is a must. Hands-on experience with tax and VAT data collection. Strong background working with Shared Service Centers. Demonstrated ownership of monthly close and reporting in complex environments. Big 4 background with in-house experience strongly preferred.
