The School of Computer and Information Sciences is currently seeking a full-time faculty member for the Masterโs in Science in Cyber Engineering (MSCE) program. This position supports the continued growth and academic excellence of the program and offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to graduate education in healthcare leadership and administration. Responsibilities: Teach graduate-level course in the MS in Cyber Engineering programs (online and/or residency format, as assigned). Maintain instructional excellence aligned with course objectives, accreditation standards, and program outcomes Engage in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous program improvement Provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students Participate in faculty meetings, program initiatives, and university service activities Collaborate with program leadership to support student success, retention, and professional preparation Perform other duties as determined by the Dean and Program Director Perform other responsibilities and abide by the appropriate policies and procedures contained in UCโs Faculty Handbook. Required Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills. Proficiency in working effectively with Blackboard Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications Proficiency with cybersecurity tools, cloud platforms, Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of network security, system hardening, and system engineering. Required: Doctoral/PhD Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Cyber-Engineering, or related field required with a minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience at the University Level (Graduate Level Courses) Minimum and preferred from an institution regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. 18 graduate semester credit hours in Cyber engineering Recommended: Cyber Engineering courses & certification from Microsoft, Google, IBM, and other similar Academic institutions. Documented work experience in the field of Cyber Engineering or related field. Candidate must be based in the US. Cumberlands is different by design.
