Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications across the full stack, including modern front-end interfaces and robust back-end services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing clean, testable JavaScript/TypeScript code, collaborating with designers and stakeholders to refine requirements, and participating in code reviews to uphold quality standards. The role also involves integrating with third-party APIs, optimizing performance and scalability, troubleshooting issues in production, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and tooling. The engineer will work closely with a distributed team, using agile methods and short iterations to deliver features and enhancements. Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and responsive UI implementation. Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization, and integration with databases or external services. Solid understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), including layout, styling, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Heroku) and basic DevOps practices is an advantage. Commitment to clean code, automated testing, and code review best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication in English, and the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
