Full-Stack Engineer (Platform & AI) Remote/ Hybrid - Must be based in Ireland with a valid working visa Salary 80-100k An innovative organisation within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer (Platform & AI) to join a growing digital transformation and AI team. This role offers the opportunity to build, deploy, and scale modern applications and AI-driven solutions that support business operations across multiple international markets The successful candidate will work across the full technology stack, combining software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI integration to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to production deployment and ongoing suppor t. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern web technologies Build and support cloud-native solutions within Azure environment Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release process Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, or similar technology Deploy, monitor and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies into business applications Design and develop APIs and integrations with third-party platforms and services Manage databases, caching technologies and data storage solutions Ensure applications are secure, scalable and highly available Implement monitoring, logging and observability best practices Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver a solution Support continuous improvement initiatives across software development and operational processes Required Experience Strong experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer Proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks Experience developing APIs and microservices Hands-on Azure cloud experience Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Docker and containerisation technology Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code to Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Desirable Experience Experience with AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI technology Exposure to LLMs and AI integration platforms Knowledge of vector databases and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus Familiarity with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices Experience working within regulated industries such as Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, or Life Sciences Understanding of security, compliance and governance framework Ideal Candidate Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Comfortable taking ownership of projects from design through production su Strong collaborator who can work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Passionate about emerging technologies, automation nd AI.Able to balance innovation with operational excellence and reliability If this sounds like you, get in touch or apply today to find out!
