Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with opportunities for remote work. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications, both on the front end and back end. Responsibilities will include writing optimized and scalable code, implementing user-interface components, and integrating APIs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ideate solutions and ensure the performance, responsiveness, and security of applications is key. Qualifications Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development Skills in Front-End Development and designing user interfaces Experience in Software Development and building scalable applications Strong knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related technologies Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered Front End: Designing responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Back End: Managing server-side logic, API creation, and database management using languages like Python, Java, PHP, or Node.js. Database Management: Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. DevOps & Deployment: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and version control (Git)
