We're building the technical infrastructure that makes all of this work at scale, and we're looking for engineers who want to work on problems that sit at the intersection of data, AI and the creator economy. Role Description: We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, build, and ship production-grade web applications at Nutcake. You will own the frontend architecture while contributing meaningfully to backend logic, APIs, and AI integrations — including OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini. This role is for engineers who care deeply about UI quality, performance, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Architect and build scalable frontend systems using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Own the component library and design system, leveraging Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI. Develop and maintain backend APIs using Next.js Server Actions and REST endpoints. Integrate AI capabilities via OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini into user-facing product features. Write robust test suites using Playwright and Vitest to ensure product quality. Collaborate with design (Figma), product, and backend teams in a remote-first environment. Work with GCP services, Cloud Run deployments, and Firebase for real-time and auth workflows. Required Skills: 4+ years of professional engineering experience, with significant frontend focus. Strong proficiency in React (Hooks, Context API) and Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, Dynamic Routing). TypeScript — strong typing, interfaces, generics, no shortcuts. Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI for production UI work. Drizzle ORM with PostgreSQL or PlanetScale. Familiarity with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, or Realtime Database). Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs into production applications. Comfort working across the stack: frontend to API to database. Familiarity with testing tools — Playwright, Vitest, Postman. Nice to Have: Experience with LangChain or broader LLM orchestration beyond OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini direct API usage. Exposure to GCP services, Cloud Run, or containerised deployments via Docker. Eye for design and ability to work directly from Figma files.
