An innovative organisation in the media and digital space is looking for a Full Stack Developer. You will join a cross-functional Product and Engineering team dedicated to building high-performance digital products that reach a global audience. This role involves developing both frontend and backend systems while collaborating closely with editorial and commercial stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing Developing and maintaining frontend and backend systems using TypeScript and Scala. Working within a cross-functional team to rapidly iterate and release new features. Collaborating through pair programming and working closely with non-technical colleagues on product decisions. Contributing to technical and product roadmaps to ensure effective delivery of team objectives. Engaging with open-source projects and participating in the wider engineering community. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer comfortable with both backend and frontend development. Solid backend knowledge in a functional or object-oriented language, with a willingness to learn Scala. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and a passion for modern web technologies. Ability to make reasoned technical choices and contribute to architectural discussions. Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
