Role Summary
The technology underpinning Papier.com plays a huge role in ensuring our customers have a great online experience. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with Product and Design to craft scalable, well-built full stack features that can be deployed into production.
About You
Strong fundamental knowledge of Ruby on Rails
2 years of commercial experience
Experience building web applications with an MVC framework
You understand users and how UX/UI design impacts their online experience
You are happy to own features end-to-end
You have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable asking questions
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of core coding skills: problem solving, debugging, testing, and version control
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for the Papier platform.
Write clean and maintainable code for both the backend and frontend components of our application.
Release multiple PRs a week as part of our fast-moving sprint cycles, often pairing with other engineers to share knowledge and review code.
Develop your instinct and opinions on architectural decisions, driving improvements to how we work as well as what we work on
